MyDrafts is a logbook for long projects — a restoration, a build, a make — that turns your photos and notes into a real book. You log the work as you go; when you're ready, MyDrafts lays it out with a cover, chapters, your photos, and a closing page, ready to flip through or export as a PDF.
Anyone who makes things over weeks, months, or years and wants to remember how they got there: car and motorcycle restorers, boat and furniture builders, woodworkers, model makers, renovators, instrument builders — hobbyists who take a lot of photos and don't want the story to disappear.
In your own iCloud account, in its private database, and cached on your device. The app has no servers of its own and no analytics, ads, or tracking. The developer never receives or sees your projects. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
No. MyDrafts uses your device's existing Apple Account for storage and sync. There's no separate sign-up, email, or password.
Yes — as long as they're signed in to the same Apple Account with iCloud on, your projects sync automatically. The first sync after installing can take a little while.
You can log and read on a single device, and your data stays there. Syncing across devices and sharing projects with other people both need iCloud to be signed in.
Open a project and tap the book button. You can flip through the finished book on your device, and from there export a PDF to save, print, or send to a print shop.
Yes — that's Camera Roll Rescue. Pick photos from your library and MyDrafts sorts them by the day they were taken and adds them back into your story, so a build you started long ago gets its beginning back.
Yes. Share a project and the people you invite can add their own photos and notes. Everyone is credited in their own colour, and a calm activity feed keeps you up to date — no nagging, no badges. Sharing goes through Apple's iCloud; you decide whether to share, whom to invite, and when to stop.
The project's About screen has the sharing controls: an owner can stop sharing or remove a person, and anyone invited can remove themselves. Once you leave, that project's copy is removed from your device.
Neither. MyDrafts is a one-time purchase. No subscription, no ads, no in-app upsells.
No. MyDrafts has no deadlines, streaks, or pressure of any kind. Notifications are optional and only ever tell you, calmly, about activity in projects you share with other people.
Mark it complete and it moves to your Archive — a shelf of finished stories — and its book gains a closing page. To bring it back, swipe the project in the Archive and tap Reactivate (or open it and choose "Reactivate project" on its About screen). Nothing is lost either way.
Signing in to the same Apple Account brings your projects with you through iCloud. MyDrafts can also export a backup file, which is useful if you ever move to a different Apple Account.
Please get in touch from the support page — feedback from real builds is exactly what shapes the app.
