OwnMemo
OwnMemo — Your data
OwnMemo collects no data.
OwnMemo has no servers of its own and contains no analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. Your journal entries never leave your device because of anything OwnMemo does.
What is stored on your device:
- Your journal entries and timeline — timestamps, titles, notes, ratings, icons, colors, and nested sub-items. All saved in your on-device SwiftData database.
- Archive status — flags indicating whether an entry is archived, locked, and the date it was archived.
- Your preferences — time rounding settings, minute display toggles, rating visibility, and default PDF export layout.
If you have iCloud enabled on your device:
-
Apple CloudKit synchronization — your entries sync directly to your personal Apple iCloud container using Apple's encrypted CloudKit private database. The developer has no access to your iCloud container or its contents.
-
No ads, and no advertising identifiers.
-
No analytics or telemetry.
-
No third-party SDKs.
-
No account, username, email, or password required.
-
No access requested to your camera, microphone, or contacts.
-
No selling or sharing of your data with anyone.
On the App Store, OwnMemo's privacy label reads Data Not Collected.
