Privacy policy

OwnWaybill processes the information you enter in documents on your device. It may include company and individual names, contact details, addresses, vehicle details, transport records, photos and signatures. You choose what to store.

Storage and iCloud

Records are stored in the app’s local database. If you enable iCloud sync, the app uses an Apple CloudKit private database under your Apple Account. Sync depends on Apple’s services, account settings and network availability. Sync is not a substitute for a separate backup.

The developer does not receive your documents on a developer-operated server and cannot access the contents of your private iCloud database through the app. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics or tracking service.

Photos, maps and sharing

The camera or photo picker is used when you choose to add a photo or logo. The photo picker lets you choose which images to provide. The map action opens your selected address in Apple Maps; the call action passes your selected number to the device’s calling function.

A PDF, including its signatures and photos, is sent to your chosen destination when you use sharing or export. The receiving app or service processes it under its own terms.

Managing information and contacting support

You can edit and delete documents in the app and manage iCloud use in Settings. Turning off iCloud in the app does not itself delete all information already stored in iCloud. Manage your Apple Account, iCloud storage and device backups in Apple’s settings.

If you contact support, the developer receives the information you choose to send. Avoid sending personal information or real signatures unless necessary to investigate the issue. For privacy questions, use this website’s contact channel.
